“What do you want?”
This is one of the first questions I ask clients when we start working together.
Often times the answer is about someone else or a cliché they’ve been conditioned to repeat to avoid sounding selfish.
Determining what you want gives you a clear direction on where you’re going and where you want to be.
In life you can help others, but you have to replenish yourself first. Your gifts are no good if you’re not working at full capacity to share it with the world.
Facing what you truly want out of life and your business can be scary, but it doesn’t have to be.
What if getting what you truly want brings you happiness?
I’m not talking about negative or unhealthy types of things. I’m talking about what brings you joy.
Galatians 5:22-23 states: 22 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
Your business starts with you! 💯
Getting clear on what you want brings insight and fresh new beginnings. If you’re unclear, you will continue to receive more of the same in running your business.
When you’re building or expanding your business you must take time to decide what you want to create the foundation for the path ahead.
So when times get rough and obstacles come your way, you can remind yourself: This is WHAT I want and This is WHY I wanted it in the first place.
