Adelia Cozart-Amos has over 17 years of Cyber Security and federal government consulting experience with various Federal Government Agencies.  Adelia's career in Cyber Security began as a Cyber Security Policy Writer/Editor, Her attention to detail caught her manager's attention, and she was afforded the opportunity to perform Security Control Assessments.  Adelia currently works for Accenture Federal Services where she provides Cyber Security Subject Matter Expertise to a number of government agencies. Adelia currently holds an active Department of Defense (DOD) Secret Clearance and a Public Trust Clearance with GSA and the Department of Education. Her expertise includes NIST guidance (800 series), FISMA, CAP goals, and IT Security Policy.

In addition, Adelia earned her Master of Arts degree in English from Miami University and her Bachelor Arts degree in English from North Carolina A&T State University. On a personal note, Adelia resides in the Washington, DC metro area with her husband and 3 children. She is passionate about Cyber Security and community service.  Adelia is an active member of the ISC2 Washington, DC chapter where she has served on the scholarship committee. She also serves as a parent volunteer with a local chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, Jr. and a Mentor for Black Girls in Cybersecurity. â€‹
